  • Khaled Mohamed

    Khaled Mohamed is Chief Investment Officer and a Partner at Kiltearn Partners LLP (“Kiltearn”). Khaled gained his MA degree at Downing College, Cambridge where he studied Classics. Khaled began his career in Investment Banking in London in 2006 and made the move into Investment Management by joining Baillie Gifford's Graduate Program in 2007. Khaled worked in UK, North American and European equities before becoming an Investment Manager, conducting global research for Baillie Gifford’s EAFE Alpha Fund. Khaled joined Kiltearn in 2011. Khaled is a CFA Charterholder.

    Craig Watson

    Craig Watson is an Investment Manager and a Partner at Kiltearn. Craig gained his Honours degree in Business Studies at Robert Gordon University Aberdeen then went on to Stirling University to study Investment Analysis where he gained his MSc. Craig started his career in 1995 at Scottish Amicable Investment Managers as an Investment Manager prior to working at Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan as an Investment Analyst. Craig joined the Templeton Global Equity Group in 2007 as an Investment Manager and Analyst until the founding of Kiltearn. Craig holds the qualifications issued by the Institute of Investment Management & Research (I.I.M.R).

    Colin Armstrong

    Colin is an Investment Manager and a Partner at Kiltearn. Prior to joining Kiltearn in 2014, Colin worked as a corporate lawyer at Dickson Minto W.S. for five years in the Listed Funds and M&A team. Colin graduated from Edinburgh University with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) degree and also gained his Diploma at Edinburgh University. Colin is a CFA Charterholder.

    Helen (Nell) Franklin

    Nell is an Investment Manager and a Partner at Kiltearn. She graduated from the University of St. Andrews with an MA (Honours) in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies and then earned her MSc in International Management for the Middle East and North Africa from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Before joining Kiltearn in 2018, Nell spent her entire career (11 years) at Baillie Gifford starting in their Investment Manager training program before moving over to the fixed income team which culminated in her becoming a Portfolio Manager for the Global Credit Fund and the US High yield strategy.

    Murdo Murchison

    Murdo Murchison is Chairman and a Partner at Kiltearn. Murdo graduated from Edinburgh University with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) degree and gained his Diploma at Glasgow University. He began his career at Schroder Investment Management in London in 1987 and spent 15 years with the Templeton Global Equity Group before leaving in 2008. Murdo has worked in Edinburgh, Singapore and the Bahamas, where he was appointed President of Templeton Global Advisers Ltd and was the second Portfolio Manager after Sir John Templeton of its flagship Templeton Growth Fund, launched in 1954. Murdo managed this product successfully for seven years during a period of substantial asset growth. Murdo is a CFA Charterholder.

    Alex Auld

    Alex is an Investment Manager at Kiltearn. He joined Kiltearn as an Investment Analyst in March 2021. Prior to joining Kiltearn, he spent 3 years with PwC in Edinburgh before moving to Bernstein to work as a sell-side analyst for the next 2+ years. He is a qualified accountant. Alex graduated from Oxford University in 2009 with a BA in History and also earned his MA in Philosophy (with distinction) from Kings College London in 2014.

    Jennifer Reid

    Jennifer joined Kiltearn as an Investment Analyst in January 2022. Jennifer began her career at Abrdn where she worked as an Investment Analyst on Multi-Asset Private Markets funds for 4 years. She graduated with a 1st Class MEng in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in 2017. Jennifer is a CFA Charterholder.

    Yibo Jiang

    Yibo joined Kiltearn as an Investment Analyst in May 2024. Yibo graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2020 with a BEng in Electrical Engineering and Automation and earned his MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2022. He joined Kiltearn after earning his MA in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Harvard in 2023. While at Harvard, he started a research website focused on investment theses for a number of US companies; all with strong value credentials.

    Laura Fong

    Laura supports the Investment Team by using her investment administration background to oversee projects and assist with data and programming needs. She joined Kiltearn after completing her studies at university in 2013. Laura graduated from the University of Dundee with a BSc (Hons) Financial Economics degree. During her time at Kiltearn Laura has gained the CISI Extended Certificate in Investment Operations and the CFA UK Level 4 Certificate in Investment Management.

  • Ed Clarke

    Ed is the Head of Sales and Client Service and a Partner at Kiltearn. He began his career in the investment management business in 1991 at SEI Investments before joining JP Morgan Investment Management (JPMIM) in 1996. At JPMIM, he was a Vice President overseeing the marketing of JP Morgan mutual funds to financial intermediaries. Prior to the formation of Kiltearn, Ed spent 10 years at Causeway Capital Management, as the Director of Sales. He was responsible for marketing Causeway's investment management strategies to institutions, pension consultants, and large financial intermediaries. Ed graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

    Brad Hensler

    Brad joined Kiltearn in January 2018 after spending the previous 7 years as a Portfolio Officer within Wealth Management at BNY Mellon. Prior to that he worked for Bernstein Global Wealth Management advising foundations and high net worth clients. He began his career in 2003 at Alliance Bernstein in their institutional asset management team. Brad also played professional baseball in the New York Mets Organization and for the Washington Wild Things of the Frontier League. Brad graduated from Allegheny College with a BA in Managerial Economics and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

  • Robert McGinty

    Robert is the Head of Operations and a Partner at Kiltearn. He has been with Kiltearn since 2013 and has over 15 years of accounting industry experience primarily in Financial Controls and Regulatory Accounting. Prior to joining Kiltearn, Robert spent 8 years with SG Hambros (Channel Islands) Ltd. Robert’s time at Kiltearn has primarily been split between Risk Management, HR and Finance. Robert graduated from the University of Paisley with a Bachelor of Accounting degree. He is an Associate Member of CIPD and completed the Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

    Douglas McArthur

    Douglas is the Head of Legal, Compliance, Sustainability and Corporate Governance and a Partner at Kiltearn. He is also the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. He began his career in 2009 at Morgan Stanley before joining Kiltearn in 2013 following a year training with Silchester. Douglas advises all areas of the firm on compliance and legal matters, including regulatory compliance. Douglas graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) degree. He has passed the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) programme and the CFA UK Certificate in ESG Investing.

    Alex Fong

    Alex is the Head of Investment Administration and a Partner at Kiltearn. Alex began his career at JP Morgan in 2007. In 2011, Alex joined Scottish Widows Investment Partnership as part of the Equity Analytics team. He joined Kiltearn in 2013 following a year training with Silchester and his time has been split between Core Investment Administration functions and Investment/Client support functions. Alex graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a MA (Hons) in Accountancy and Finance. Alex holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Investment Operations Certificate (IOC).

    Duncan Stewart

    Duncan is the Head of Dealing and a Partner at Kiltearn. He began his career at Scottish Widows in 2004. He subsequently had roles at State Street, Martin Currie and HSBC. Duncan joined Kiltearn in 2013 following a year training with Silchester. He focuses solely on Dealing including the execution of Investment Team decisions, program trading, management of trade relationships and costs, cash management, and oversight of Kiltearn’s FX execution model. Duncan graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA (Honours) degree in Business Studies and holds the IOC and IMC certificates.

    Iain McMillan

    Iain joined Kiltearn in 2014 as a member of the Investment Administration team. His role has since expanded to also cover areas of Dealing and Corporate Governance. Prior to Kiltearn, Iain spent 8 years with Franklin Templeton, latterly as a supervisor in the Portfolio Administration department. Iain graduated from the Heriot Watt University with a degree in Economics and Finance.

    Jack Sinclair

    Jack joined the Investment Administration team at Kiltearn in April 2023 after moving from the Hedge Fund Operations team at J.P. Morgan. Prior to that, he worked as a Renewables Designer focusing on solar farms development after achieving a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering with Renewables from the University of Dundee. Jack holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Investment Operations Certificate (IOC).

    Peppi Walliander

    Peppi joined the Investment Administration team at Kiltearn in August 2025 after achieving an MSc in Global Strategy and Sustainability from the University of Edinburgh. She also holds an MA (First Class Honours) in Business Management and Legal Studies from the University of Aberdeen. Peppi is currently working towards the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Investment Operations Certificate (IOC).

    Anna Allan

    Anna joined Kiltearn in May 2020 as a member of the Compliance & Risk team. She previously worked at Scott Moncrieff and has over 12 years accounting industry experience. Anna is a fellow member of the ACCA and has passed the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) programme.

    Vivienne Taylor

    Vivienne joined Kiltearn in April 2023 in an Office Managerial role. She previously worked at Inverleith LLP, The Vardy Foundation and Kempen Capital Management (UK) Ltd, an asset management company based in Edinburgh, as their Office Manager and Executive Assistant for 12 years. Prior to that, Vivienne worked within the real estate sector in Bermuda for 14 years in a similar role. Vivienne brings a wealth of relevant experience and professionalism to the role having over 25 years’ experience working in both financial services and real estate.
